Israeli, Mediterranean cuisine, relaxed ambiance with friendly staff. Everything on the menu is delicious. Some of our favorites are the Picasso rice bowl, the Mezze platter, the Hummus special and the Ricotta pancakes. Their tea selection is perfect, one of our favorite is the ginger root and the “adventure” a tea one of the waitresses and I put together by blending ginger root and ruby sipper, so delicious. Anything on the menu serves all day long. They also serve a large variety of baked goods, chocolate truffles and coffees. Clean healthy food that satisfies. Art Cafe sells displayed rotated artwork by local artists and have poetry events every 2nd Tuesday of the month. Great food, great environment, great company, what more can you ask for???

Food is delicious and transformed into looking like everyday food with popular dish names. Some of our personal favorites are the General Tso’s chicken, Ginger beef, Sesame beef, Spring rolls, Wonton soup, Dumplings, House special Lo Mein, outstanding Crispy beef, Pork fried rice, excellent fruit smoothies and desserts. The lunch special has a large selection to choose from at a price you can’t beat. Absolutely delicious!!

Delicious French-American cuisine, romantic ambiance with friendly staff. The restaurant is very romantic, seating by the fireplace is always a treat. They welcome you with warm miniature baguettes that are addictive. At times the chef will send out complimentary Hors d’oeuvre which are a big treat and delicious every time. Some of our favorite dishes are Kumamoto raw oysters with a Japanese dressing that are to die for, the Pacific Ahi Tuna, the Wild King Salmon, the Macaroni & cheese a three cheese heaven, for desserts we love their rarely served Coconut Cake, Restaurant X Layer Cake, the Banana Walnut Bread Pudding, the Poached Pear Bake, and their Classic Creme Brulee. I hear great reviews about their sunday’s brunch, which we have yet to get around to, but I hear it’s amazing.

Delicious Italian cuisine, really friendly staff. They welcome you with warm delicious bread basket. Some of our favorite dishes are the eggplant parmesan, outstanding, one of the best I’ve ever had, great house salads and delicious seafood misto, food is very flavorful.
CARMANY’S DOUBLETWIST SOFT PRETZELS, CARLISLE, PA
I visit the Cralisle location and I have been addicted to these pretzels for years now, they are AMAZING!!!!! The sugar & Cinnamon are amazing and the regular ones with mustard are also to die for, they taste like croissants. Carmany’s has the best soft pretzels in the world!
WHAT’S POPPIN KETTLE KORN STAND RHINEBECK, NY
Thus this is not a restaurant and a stand at during the Rhinebeck events, they are always on the same spot and make the most delicious kettle pop corn ever, the staff is really friendly. They even have a cool gum-ball machine they keep filled with their popcorn for you have while waiting in line of just to taste. Warning, this kettle popcorn is addictive. Everything is fresh, their fresh kettle popcorn aromas all over the place, you cant resist, we get the largest bag while and walk around for hours. We’ve had other kettle popcorn, but by far WHAT’S POPPIN KETTLE KORN is the best and most delicious with a perfect balance of sugar and salt. The best!

Delicious French cuisine, they welcome you with warm small squared ciabatta bread. Staff is very friendly, romantic lighting with natural sunlight peeking in, natural wood decor, simple yet beautiful, It’s a small restaurant with perfect table space. The food is to die for, some dishes we love are the most delicious fried oysters you will ever have, tender and juicy topped with a crunchy layer of vegetable, caviars over thin strips of zesty fresh cucumbers and the most delicious soft shelled crabs served over white rice and sautéed spinach, amazing! Everything on the menu looks delicious, we just have to keep going back and trying more dishes. The food is extremely flavorful with a lot exotic flavors.

If you are a true chocoholic like myself, then... this is the heaven for us, their chocolates are to die for and true to it’s flavors. They have three location and we have visited two of them, the one in Rhinebeck and New Paltz, both excellent locations on high traffic streets. We love Krause’s Chocolates.

Amazing Venezuelan cuisine, very authentic. The staff is really friendly and welcoming. This is one of the most cleanest restaurants in the area. They don’t only serve Venezuelan dishes, they also offer great selection of American classics. We love their “Venezuelan Brunch Special” , outstanding and deliciously hearty. Prices are great considering the generous amount of food they give you. This is now a favorite for us, we love SWEETPEPPER!

ASBURY PARK, NJ
Cuban cuisine, the most delicious and exotic homemade butter spread of guava and lime with toasted bread. Best of all, these addictive bread basket is served to every guest! CUBACAN makes one of our favorite “Fried Calamari” appetizers, the calamari is lightly battered with fried green olives, pepper strips and two bitter sauces, we prefer to eat ours without the sauces which is more tasty and succulent in my opinion. They have great desserts, personal favorite is the “tres leche”, very delicious!
MOGO
ASBURY PARK, NJ
Every time we visit Asbury Park, we have to stop by their location on the boardwalk. OK, I never heard of Korean tacos before, but we came across MOGO and what a delicious surprise. We’ve had both the shrimp and the tofu tacos and by far, the tofu tacos are to die for. These tacos are a burst of exotic flavors, with crunchy tofu fried in a sweet sauce, sooooo delciousssss, refreshing and light! MOGO is a staple in our trips to Asbury Park.

Highlights of “THE FANCY FOOD SHOW” N.Y.C June - July

FOOD! FOOD! FOOD! Galore! For a few days I was able to feel like i traveled to many countries between the friendly people with their native accents and foods, really a wonderful event. The show was amazing and three days was just not enough time to sample, chat with exhibitors and check out some of the greatest companies in the world. But, hey it’s me, I managed to visit some great booths and try some amazing new products. Check out the photos here.
The show was well organized, the staff was really friendly and helpful. Tons of international exhibitors representing many countries. Some booths really stood out with their elaborate decorations and some products were truly delicious. While some countries really represented extremely well, with friendly services and excellent products.
Thus everyone was great, some brands really stood out for me. And some cultures did an amazing job at delivering fun new products and outstanding food quality. Some of my favorites were, AUSTRIA, KOREA, FRANCE, just to name a few. In this article, I will only concentrate on products i truly loved. No sense in doing it any other way.

Kase Rebellen had some excellent cheese selections. Their cheeses carry elements of a fresh farm, the woods, the hay, the natural milks and flavors that develop flawlessly. Kase Rebellen offer exquisite cheeses, they are delicious.

Verival offers some of the greatest certified organic and handcrafted products. They say you are what you eat and Verival lives to up to these expectations. I was able to taste some of their products and they taste as organic as edibles can be. Delicious and healthy, what can ever be so perfect?

BAILONI
Bailoni is a private family distillery founded in 1872. Thus, I do not personally consume alcohol, I went to their booth and instead of a sample i asked to smell the different spritz. WOW! they smelled amazing. So we spoke for a bit and decided that i can cook with them and then found out they also produce apricot jams, chocolates and syrups. This was great news for me. Bailoni has been around for over 100 years and still maintain and deliver high quality apricot products. Exquisitely delicious!
energy drink
ROX
Rox, is the popular Austrian energy drink. My first time trying the drink was during this show, before i consumed my sample, i asked the lady at the booth “I’m I going to go crazy?” she, of course laughed, as i also did. It was delicious, crunchy and exotic at the same time. And for the rest of the day i felt energized with zero appetite for food. Perhaps this energy drink supplied me with everything my body needs at a balanced level. I’ve notice when i eat healthy foods, my body does not crave to eat afterwards.

Spitz is one of the most popular food brands in Austria. When i visited Austria, I remember being addicted to their wafers. At the show, Spitz brought me me great memories. They produce some excellent products. My personal favorites are the wafers, in all flavors. I love Spitz wafers!

Eat The Ball, is the first ball-shaped bread, what a revolutionary way of eating bread, truly unique and innovative. Plus, the balls are 100% natural, they are frozen and thawed to freshness for up to 24 hours. This is a great way of always happing bread around and not worry about it’s freshness. At the show, they stuffed my football ball with a hazelnut spread. But, there are so many other ways to enjoy these balls, you can eat with cheese, spreads, chocolates, etc. What a yummy treat!!!

Baking Stories is a new brand coming to the American market shortly. I will keep you posted. In the meantime, I would like to share that Baking Stories products are gourmet and delicious, I tried their breadsticks and cookies and they are absolutely delicious, full of grains and healthy. Rodoula offers many of Greek baked goods frozen ready to heat up. I was able to try their baklavas, very good, however my eyes were popping out with the spinach pies, that they were not able to cut right out the oven. All of their products looked amazing and i’m sure very delicious. This is a very big company.

Pittas, is one of the greatest Greek cheese companies. I love their products. During the show they sampled their fried Halloumi cheese, which was absolutely delicious! I shared with them, that in Dominican Republic we also fry a white cheese. This cheese had mild traces of feta cheese, which was amazing!!!!

Uniconf is the largest Russian chocolate company. Currently they produce five brands and i got to try almost all of them. And all i have to say is delicious! Besides how great their products are, the packaging is fancy and elegant for the chocolate products. AMAZING company and products.

Gut Springenheide chocolates are not only creamy and delicious, but innovative. The eggshells are authentic. When i spoke to the representative, she explained the process for me and i was in shock. The eggshells are washed, sterilized and filled with praline praline chocolates. The egg is cracked and peeled like a normal egg. Fun and yummie!!!

W&M produce some really delicious natural dried coconut chips in many fun flavors. This is a very innovative product. i tried the plain and the caramel coconut chips which were really yummy, crispy and tasty and natural.

Chia Meng, are probably the largest producers of rice in Thailand. They produce some great quality jasmine rice and offer other great fragrant rices.

Charles Antona jams are some of the best. Proudly made in Corsica from amazing local fruits. I sampled about 6 different jams and one was better than the other, this jam is perfect with cheeses. Délicieux!

Chateau Blanc, is everything i think about having breakfast or a picnic in France. They offer some great amount of ready to bake breads, cookies and other sweets. What separates them form other bread companies is the quality of ingredients, rich i flavors and buttery. Yum, Yum, Yum!

Bovetti chocolates in my opinion are some of the most unique looking chocolates. The chocolate tablets are thin with great pieces of natural fruits layered on top. Thus, i only had the chance to sample a small piece, it was really, really tasty and delicious.

Yves Thuries, is not just a name for a chocolate company, he is an actual notable French chef, with a reputation of success. These chocolates are some of the best i tasted at the show. Innovative chocolate style with explosions of flavors that melt on in your mouth. My favorites are the milk chocolates caramels and pralines, to die for!!!!

Jabri is a family owned business that has been around since 1935. It’s oe of the largest confectioners of Jordan. Had to chance to sample some sesame cookies and how delicious they were. Natural Garden seaweed snacks come in so many different flavors. These thin seaweed snacks are healthy, vegan crispy and delicious. One of my favorite snacks. Great product for seaweed lovers who want a quick snack on the go.

Oodles seaweed noodles, the alternative pasta, healthy and ready to serve, no cooking required. I tasted these innovative noodles and they were great, light and refreshing! You can add any sauce to these noodles, as well as adding them to soups.

Chuno Food is one of the most creative and innovate juice companies I have ever experienced. Not only is their packing light, but the nutrients that go into their juices. Peppadew sweet golden peppers were discovered in South Africa and is the first new fruit. These amazing peppers are exquisitely delectable and exotic. I tried all flavors, all are great, my personal favorite is the goldew which is sweet is an explosion of sweet flavors. I have never tasted anything like this before. Many ways to serve this delectable new fruit.

Kholer chocolates are the most delicious American chocolates your mouth will ever experience. Kholer chocolates are elegant, tasteful, exotic, beautiful, rich and extravagant. This brand is one of my top favorites in the world! I sampled the handmade Terrapin Toffee Bark, which took me to heaven and back. I love Kholer chocolates, they are out of this world! Exquisite!

Cypress Grove Chevre is one of my all time favorite cheese company. They produce one of my favorite cheese, the midnight moon, which is one the best cheese ever made. WHat can i say? This company really stands out with their cheeses. Trust me, they are absolutely great and delicious.

MONIN
Monin offer high quality gourmet sauces and syrups are mostly natural. I tried their handcrafted sodas made with natural ingredients and they were really good, they also produce a sugar feee soda. I also sampled their gourmet sauces on ice cream and how spectacularly delicious that was. Great products!

Seth Greenberg the crunchy brownie innovator, created a delicious brownie that is portable, flatter and amazingly delicious! The Brownie Crunch reminds me of the bets part of any cake, the crunchy edges. i tried these jalapeno Browni, i was in amaze at how delicious and addictive brownie crunchies are outstanding, a deliciously tasty snack.

Bubbies mochi ice cream, comes in many exotic flavors, they are homemade, natural, delicate, refreshing and heavenly delicious!!! I love Bubbies! They also make ice cream cakes. I sampled many flavors and one is better than the other.

Imperial Date Garden is an impressive company offering excellent date products. It was my first time meeting them at the show and I must say that i was extremely impressed with the high quality of their dates. Simply delicious!!! Out of the date brands i have experienced throughout the years Imperial Date Gardens is the best by far.

Wai Lana is a great brand with a health conscious awareness. They produce these amazingly delicious cassava chips, that are healthy and great in taste. They understand that healthy products can be both great for your body an delicious on the go.

Next produces some amazing dark chocolate covered fruits. The products are organic and large chunks of fruits, that will make you feel you are eating the actual fruit itself. I sampled the Brazilian nuts, coconut and Ginger and they are seriously Delicious!!!

Redclay Gourmets offers some delicious cheese and in four amazing flavor that develop. I tried all four fantastic flavors and realized, just how delicious these cheeses are.

Lammes candies have been around for over 100 years. The family some of the most amazing habanero pralines. Talk about spicy and sweet at the same time and you had a Lammes. They make other candies as well, but the habanero pralines are to die for!

Raos has created, what i will call it today, “the most amazing tomato sauce in the world! During the show they sampled pizza, right out the oven let me tell you, the pizza was also delicious. have been a customer for sometime now and out of all the tomato sauces we have tasted, Raos is the greatest and most delicious tomato sauce in the world.

THE TEA ROOM
The Tea Room produces the most exotic, fun and vibrant teas ever. The teas are made with chocolate which I love tremendously. I love the Tea Tae Room!

WILD HIBISCUS
Wild Hibiscus was something totally new for me. I knew about rose petals in syrup, but never heard of wild hibiscus and shall i say this is probably one of the most exotic foods i’ve ever tasted. During the show they stuffed the flowers with cheese and that combination was excellent and delicious!

CRUNCHY FOODS
Crunchy Foods is one of the few companies that concentrate on just one product. During the show i was able to sample many different flavor to their biscotti’s and i have to be honest with you, these tiny biscotti's are one of the best biscotti’s i’ve ever had. In fact these little delectable are amazing!

TORI & HOWARD
Tori & Howard hard candies are heavenly, not only juicy and delicious, but made from great natural ingredients. Who would think such tiny pieces of hard candies can give you the sensation of consuming a fruit? Once you have these you will never want other candies again.

Taffy Town is named the greatest taffy in the USA and i agree. At the show i sampled many different flavors, one being better than the other. Awesome taffy!

TERRA DELYSSA
Terra Delyssa oils are produced in Tunisia. I sampled four distinctive flavors, the organic infused ones and i just did not want to stop eating them with bread. They had the Lemon, Basil, Garlic and Chilli pepper, all great, but for me the basil and the lemon were fantastic!

STURIA
Sturia offers a large variety of fine caviar in many different types and of high quality. Thus i did not get to try their caviar, i really really love the Sturia “the one” innovative caviar serving system, the dish and ready to serve containers, which maintain freshness.
