The hidden gem Eurasian country of Georgia is one of the most beautiful countries in the world, bordered by the Black sea, Russia, Armenia, Azerbaijan and Turkey. The country hold about 5 million in population. It’s capital is Tbilisi and official language is Georgian. Thus, a greater 80% of the coutyr is Georgian, the rest of the percentages include Russians, Azerbajianis and Armenians. What today is known as Georgia is also one of the oldest territories in our history, dating back to 7th century BC and beyond. Georgia holds a wealth of historical events including it’s most recent one in 1991 when they became independent from the Soviet Union. The country experienced a cillvil war till 2003 until the country was introduced to economic and democratic reforms. Besides the followed events, Georgia, thus not a very popular country, it is known to be an incredibly beautiful country full of culture and quickly growing in many aspects. Georgia is known to be one of the oldest wine regions in the world and said to be where the first grape cultivation took place dating to back 8,000 ago. Georgian gatherings revolve around cuisine and events. Georgia has a growing economy, they most popular sports are football, rugby, wrestling, judo and basketball. Culturally speaking Georgia is known for their architectural structures, the arts, music, cuisine and sports. What a fantastic country this is.
