August FFANY shoe show was good, I had such a nice time chatting with designers, brand reps, reminiscing about Nordstrom days, styles and the footwear industry. We, industry people are very much aware of all the changes and it’s always great to share stories. The footwear industry is a solid industry that has gone crazy with the trends. Very few brands keep have maintained integrity while some have had to keep up with the seasons. In the mist of all the clutter of shoes, I alway manage to find the true gems and i found some amazing new brands and some brands that have totally up their styles and i am excited to share those brands with you. More exciting news for you my shoeholics! The fun never stops around here.

Who says press journalist can’t look elegant? I was invited to a movie premier red carpet event this month and so i took the opportunity to style my new Klub Nico’s. I just received my first pair of Klub Nico shoes (the MOXIE) and i have to say, in all honesty, these shoes fit me like a glove, they are the most comfortable open toes, high heel sandals I’ve ever worn and i wore them right out the box to the event in NYC. I walked 13 city blocks in them, at least 7 people at the premiere commented on my shoes, asking where to buy them. I told them they are by Klub Nico and can be purchased at Nordstrom. While walking towards Port Authority a few more people on the streets commented, “hot shoes”, “nice shoes”, “sexy shoes”. I felt like a character in “sex in the city” with these shoes.

Now, let’s talk about Klub Nico, this is a Brazilian brand, yes, made in Brazil. Klub Nico shoes are leather shoes, both uppers and soles. They are made to perfection, they are extremely comfortable and stylish. I LOVE MY KLUB NICO SHOES!

About the MOXIE, this style comes in 3 or 4 colors, my MOXIE is black, which will be in Nordstrom. in a few weeks. Nordstrom. is currently selling the MOXIE is three elegant colors. Check them out!
